About Purposeful Careers
At Purposeful Careers, we believe the future of work belongs to those who carve their own path. That’s why we create training and resources to help independent workers—freelancers, contractors, consultants, and gig workers—navigate the ever-changing world of work with confidence. We specialize in equipping workers who value flexibility and freedom with the resources to build careers that aren’t just sustainable but truly meaningful for them. Because when work feels purposeful, it’s more than just a job—it’s a way of life.
Our Story
From Bridging the Gap to Purposeful Careers
Our journey began in 2005 as Bridging the Gap, an educational program design company. Initially focused on language and intercultural training, we expanded into the career development and employment services industry in 2007. By 2009, we rebranded as Purposeful Careers, shifting our focus to designing and delivering career support programs for traditional and non-traditional workers.
Today, we’re known for our expertise in serving independent workers, helping them thrive in careers that embrace flexibility and freedom. Whether you're pursuing freelance projects, contract jobs, or building a portfolio career, we create programs that empower workers and the organizations that hire them.
